Floodstop 1 Inch NPT automatic water valve system shuts off water to water heaters , water softeners , water conditioners or other water devices with a 1 inch water line. Do-It-Yourself or use a plumber. The one inch full port brass water valve meets all USA drinking water requirements for lead free water valves. Uses 4 AA batteries if AC power is not nearby. This water leak detection system shuts off water only to the protected appliance. A damp moisture sensor signals the unit, the water valve closes, the water is shut off and an alarm sounds. Power is supplied by an AC adapter/transformer or batteries. Output contacts enable the controller to connect with alarm, home automation or auto-dialer systems if desired.
